2026 Organized Rides
Here is a list of the organized rides I’ll be participating in this year. Come join me and let’s support these great events that take place in or very near Lewis County! Click the title of each ride listed here to be taken to a registration link.
May 16 – Lewis County Historical Ride

This ride is Lewis County’s premier road cycling event. Now in its 41st year, Scouts BSA Troop 317 and Venturing Crew 9333 host this ride that originates in Chehalis and winds its way on scenic backroads that bring you front and center with several of Lewis County’s heritage sites. This is a great training ride for STP and the cost is super approachable.
June 13 – Columbia Century Challenge

This has become one of my favorite organized rides, particularly because it offers a different route every year through the backroads of the county I grew up in. Not only that, but the ride has several really good climbs and descents that challenge the mind and body a bit. This year’s ride originates in my hometown of Rainier, Oregon, and I can’t wait to go home for this one.
June 20 – Tour de Blast

Riding in the shadow of Mount St. Helens is pretty awe-inspiring. It gets even more so the closer you get, and that’s exactly what this ride offers. It’s a trek that you’ll need your climbing legs for, and the scenery alone is so worth it. Come support the Longview Rotary Club and see the recovery of the Mount St. Helens blast zone from the seat of your bicycle.
July 11 – Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic

The first organized ride I ever took part in back in 2015 was the STP, and as such it always has a special place in my heart. Eleven years later, I’ve done six full STP rides, including two of them in one day. It’s a total bucket list ride for the mileage and the camaraderie — and biking between the two largest cities in the Northwest is just pretty dang cool.
July 25 – Ride Around Clark County

The good folks of Vancouver Bicycle Club host the annual Ride Around Clark County, which offers an awesome mix of urban and rural cycling. Start the ride in downtown Vancouver and weave your way through the backroads for an epic experience. New to this year’s ride is a brand-new gravel adventure route, and reconfigured road routes to offer a fresh perspective. I’m looking forward to my third year riding in RACC and I hope to bring a bunch of folks with me!
