Chris Brewer is an avid cyclist, photographer, outdoors enthusiast and newly-elected City Councilor who calls Centralia, Washington home.
Born in Longview, Washington and raised in Rainier, Oregon, Chris joined the Air Force after high school and spent four years as a radio and TV broadcaster. He subsequently spent nearly ten years in the journalism career field before transitioning over to information technology, the field in which he has worked since 2015.
In late 2023, Chris was elected to serve a four-year term on the Centralia City Council. His priorities include creating a more walkable and bikeable infrastructure network, enhancing services to citizens while being fiscally conservative, and helping craft sound land use and zoning policy to help where possible when it comes to addressing the housing crisis.
You can catch him on his bike as he pedals along the roads and bikeways of Lewis County and beyond. Just make sure to go at least 18 mph to ensure you do.
